7 Destinations with a Clay International Prepaid SIM Card

The thought of going without internet access on your phone, computer or other mobile devices is scary in our times, however, the voice and data tariff on-the-go in abroad is prohibitively high. This situation often holds us from going abroad, and when we do set out we restrict ourselves to a few destinations. But not anymore, with a Clay International Prepaid SIM Card, the entire world is a stage, breakfree and enjoy your moments.

I had to visit 7 random destinations, they are not necessarily in the top 7 chart of authoritative travel websites. They were not in my wishlist too. As a content manager for a leading vacation rental portal in the USA, I had to visit those places to grab as much first hand information as possible, specially those related to accommodation, nearby destinations, safety and amenities. More on them later. My employer did pay for dining out, lodging and commutation. It also subscribed some corporate business solutions (voice + data) from Clay Telecom for us, on which we peers could access internet as a close user group.

As an individual customer you can grab a Clay International Prepaid card for just Rs. 499, that includes Free talk time worth Rs. 100. Of course, our plan was different but in all the cases through a Clay SIM you can use a single number in over 200 countries, get free incoming calls in 60 countries, make direct dialling in over 26 countries, and most importantly there are flexible recharge options.

Coming back to those 7 random destinations. It took us 3 months to visit the popular destination in Istanbul, Rome, London, Beijing, Prague, Marrakech and Paris. None of these destination has anything to do with the other. But they all standout for their unique offering. The native carriers in those countries are different, voice and data tariffs were different. Moreover, recharging your data and voice services is not the same across those places. You should expect some hassles. To sum up, we had our share of ugly surprises across those different cultures, that's obvious. One thing that did not deceive was Clay - we never knew when we were changing carriers since the quality of service was good and uniform.

Clay UAE Postpaid SIM Card - Silly Name But Serious Business

Last month I had a pleasure trip to Dubai, thanks to the cost-effective Clay UAE Postpaid SIM Card and Data services plus the free to-and-fro flight journey.

Last month I got a call from a media house in Dubai for an editorial position. I was not sure of cracking the interview (in fact, I couldn't). But the free to-and-fro offer from the company was very alluring and I planned to set out. I still wonder why they didn't prefer a video conference to an interview in person. Anyway, I was lucky for the consideration.

All the while Burj Khalifa was ruling my mind. UAE is full of many urban masterpieces including Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. This skyscraper is the centerpiece of Downtown Dubai surrounded by duty-free shopping destinations, star hotels and lots of entertainment options. Then there's Sharjah close to Dubai. My to-do list was all about shopping and visiting destinations as extensively as I can; yet I had to save maximum possible amount on the expenses, most importantly that of call and data services.

Coincidentally, I got a mailer that read some tall claims "Get Clay United Arab Emirates SIM Card and Save UPTO 80% on Roaming Rates. Now you can travel across United Arab Emirates and save on international roaming throughout your trip. With Clay United Arab Emirates Postpaid SIM stay connected all across United Arab Emirates."

I ordered for a postpaid fortnightly plan. Clay UAE Postpaid SIM card reached my place within 2 days. The bundle had the said module plus a user manual. I was on my way after landing in Dubai. It worked as a local SIM card. The data pack was enough for my 15 days stay for: navigation, browsing, and pics/text sharing. There was no gimmick. The name was silly - Clay, but it meant serious business.

Stay tuned to follow the run with me when I’ll elaborate on my Dubai Adventure.

The Value in Providing Value

Hours back we upgraded Clay.co.in to provide you with rich user experience (navigation, usability and new features), valuable product information and social media integration, so that you can make easy and informed decisions, and share your experience with the world, in a much better way than ever before. The refreshing of Clay brings some fresh memories; it's time to retrospect. Clay Telecom started its journey in 2000 and now it's the most trusted and distinguished name among international SIM card providers in India. Around 14 years went by but it seems like a flip-second.

Back then India was opening up to the world. International travelling for business as well as globetrotting started. It became very important to seek communication options which provided good connectivity across the globe and convenience. In addition, the options had to be very cost-effective. We saw an opportunity. We could see the value in providing value to the international travellers.
Local SIM was not only an expensive way to stay in touch with the family, friends and associates, when they travelled abroad, but involved a lot of hassles too. There was no way for the customers travelling abroad to know as to how much it will be spent during their trips in making phone calls, sending text and surfing the web. Local SIM didn’t work. One size doesn't fit all. That's why, as a growing international SIM card provider in India, we started bundling our services as per individual needs. At the same time, we partnered with the leading carriers across world. Bundling services as per your requirement proved successful in reducing price as well as occupying major mindshare in the market.
We have distinguished solutions for frequent traveller groups such as: business travellers (Corporate, MICE, SME), student travellers, tourist travellers, and individuals. The solutions become even more granular and cost-effective as you nitpick data packs, messaging packs and other add-ons.
Travelling abroad? Please take a step in the right direction, consider our international voice and data solutions. You won't come home to a huge bill!
